I’m sure we will still be waiting for a bit for even walkable ice but hopefully people in the area can keep there eyes and ears open and let the rest of us know how the ice is and when it get here.

Buddy found 4-5 near Bayport. His friend also found 4-5, but with patches of 2 in places. Bring your spud bar and ice picks!

Solid 8-10” out front of the Bayport park where we set up.  Silver/blue kastners tipped with 1 waxie was all the eyes would bite.  Nothing on live minnow or minnow head.  Dead sticks:  0.  Aggressive jigging:  3 keepers.  (Plus some nice CPR white bass.)

Out on river on sat 3” of snow and about 8-10” of ice. Thankfully it was to cold for the inconsiderate people that are usually there to be driving around in vehicles before the ice is ready. Good morning fishing out from bayport.

It’s been over a week since I was out there last marked a ton of fish but but was really slow. Any improvement in the bite?

St Croix action has been super slow all season, at least for crappies.  That could be the reason for lack of info here.
