Champlin to Elk river

I don't know what you consider north but this is best place I could think of to put

Been putting in at Ramsey where diamonds used to be

slowly trolling up river with black and silver jointed rap or perch scatter rap minnow about 30-40 yards from shore going just fast enough to bounce off the bottom have been producing smallies and northern. Drifting on the way down throwing meps towards shore has been getting smallies as well.

Did get bonus eater walleye on the meps last Saturday. No big smallies on the last outing.

Have not been past Goodin island from that launch water gets really shallow at the pinch point I am sure I could make it if I wanted to though.

Has anyone put in at 10 and 101 at babcock park recently how does it look for danger zones? Im running in a 14ft with a short shaft so I can get pretty shallow

I've usually put in at either the CR dam or in Anoka but I've been up to Dayton without much trouble. It gets a limitless shallow just before the Crow enters but otherwise it's pretty safe running.

Nice looking paint job on your boat!
