Now that it's July, what kind of success has everyone been experiencing all around Sheildsville. We were out on French lake today and the action was real slow. Lots of boating activity and even had the opportunity to chat with the 3 C/O that were out.

I can't speak for the Shieldsvillle area as I live and fish the Mankato area lakes, but around here I've been finding success on eyes' with a crawler harness/ bottom bounce presentation in 10-15 fow during low light periods. During the day the sheepies take over.

Found some hungry sunnies and gills in 8 to 12 ftow with a jig and worm.

If you want to see hundreds of dead carp floating along shore and out in the lake head on over to the stinky lake elysian.

Northerns and Sheepheads are biting on jig / minnow combos in 10-12 feet.
