Will be going up to Vermillion for the first time tomorrow for the next week.  We are staying in private cabin rental on Big Bay just west of Everetts Bay.  Looks like Everetts Bay is the closest launch, but would like to know of a decent place to get bait, leeches and crawlers probably.  Any tips on depths to target currently also?

Thanks,

David

Easiest spot for your location would be at the Y-Store, located at the junction of Hwy. 169 and county rd.. 77.

Best depth are 15' to 26' for rigging.  5' to 15' reefs for slip bobbers.

Anybody have any good ideas for bait on the west end? Its been about a dozen years since I've been up there. There use to be a small little stand right by the "Country Store" that had great bait, but I think I heard they are gone now. Am I better off stopping in Virginia on the way up?

Thanks in advance.

Lucky 7 in Virginia have always treated us great with purchase of bait.

Whole crew is nice and like my teasing an corny story's, plus very generous minnow count.

Crawlers n Leeches nice & Fat, do make a tasty fried treat on off days no bites.

Mmmmm good for the guts!

: )

Bigger fish still coming up shallow before a front an sunrise & set, moon changes and of course whenever they seem to need a fix of belly pleaz'n munchies.

No fish by our docks......ever.

Keep on rocken!
