Headed to Stella this weekend to a friend's place. Don't plan on doing a lot of fishing but if time allows I'd like to sneak out in the morning Saturday.

Plan on targeting walleye. Not asking for any secrets or anything. Never fished Stella before so I'm just curious on depth(s), presentation, and bait.

Thanks in advance!

Like most lakes in the area walleyes generally are located in or very near vegetation. Pitching or trolling crankbaits on the deep edge could get you some fish.

Gave it a try for a couple hours on Saturday morning from 6-8:30ish. Tried dragging Lindy rigs and jigs around with minnows. I threw a jiggin rap out there for a little bit. Didn't even get a bite between the three of us. The guy at the access said there weren't many fish coming off yesterday. Hopefully it was better yesterday as we were packing up to hit the road lol!
