Has anybody been out lately?  I caught some decent crappies a week ago near the depot on wayzata.  Hoping to get out Wednesday for some walleyed or bass.  If anyone has a good bay to start at I would appreciate it, thanks!

Fished spring park today, tried walleye early with no luck.  Switched to bass and managed to find a few in about 10 feet over weeds.  Caught most of them on a chatterbait

This time of year inside weedlines with sand have been good historically.  Find some cabbage and you should be golden.

 

Those walleyes could show up here and there on cranks in that 10 foot range too.

Had a moster on friday at sunset, id guess 8-10lbs. Never got a look at what it was, took the reel out for about 10 seconds and popped off after i tried to gain a little line back after she stopped. Stayed down like a walleye. First time i ever tried the jigging rap out and that happens, im hooked now lol.

It was in 12' of water on a gravel weedline transition.
