Great opener this year.  Cottonwood was on fire.  Deadcoon was kicking out limits on crankbaits.  Dane  was easy no matter how you were fishing.  Get out and get yours before all to double dippers clean them out.

Yeah and if that's the case bring your own water for the boat to sit in. I've seen nest on a normal opener!!

Cant help you who the guide will be for the govener opening day. ,  But to answer your question  for the bite on green. My guess it will be poor. Green is a deep clear lake and I just don't see the temps being warm enough opener to kick the eyes in. Look more towards memorial weekend to first week in June for Green to light up. My guess is the guides will hit some of the shallower more productive walleye lakes in the area. Foot, Diamond, Kandyohi, Wakanda. These will be much better options early in the season.

I was out chasing sunfish and crappies this weekend and in the bays where I was fishing I had water temps ranging from 58-61 degs.  at the bottom of my trolling motor so about 2' below the surface.  I couldn't believe it was that warm already.

I bet the boats will be packed in front of the dam by the Ole Mill Inn.
