Kids these days

As a young father of three amazing kids; I truly believe the outdoors and parents influence children more than all other factors today. I have nieces and nephews that are disrespectful, undisciplined, and unproductive. They spend most of their free time on a tablet, game console, or in front of the TV. You cannot ask them for help or to behave. Ridiculous...

 

My boys are not perfect angels but they understand rules, responsibility, and why they are important. They outdoors has helped me teach these lessons to them. From being stewards of the land and animals within them to why it's important to clean equipment and organization. These trips and hopefully embedded in their hearts as much as mine.

I couldn't agree with you more. I also see children being raised by electronics because it's easier to let a TV raise our children than to actually take the time to be involved parents. I'm an old fart. My youngest is my baby girl who will turn 35 this year. It's been the topic of more than a few discussions around here.

Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks for being involved with your ( and probably other, neighborhood) children.
