Best use for this rod

Got a Abu Garcia veritas medium heavy 7 foot rod paired with a revo sx 7:1 I believe ratio. Will this be a good spinner bait rod? I might play with some bigger bass jigs or 3/8 jig heads with swim tails. I have 2 other rods 7 foot mediums, one for cranks moderate fast action with Revo winch,  and the other all around use a veritas with revo s 6:4 also. tired of having to retie all the time. Should this work?

I don't do the big football jig things much. and have spinning rods for wacky and small jigs. Just trying to get a better system worked out Thanks guys. Lots of help on here.

I would say it's fine. M-MH are very good for many things just need to be careful when throwing things heavy if it's close to the max lure weight. That's when bad things happen. Didn't really answer your question but hope that helps.
