2nd bass caught today and this year.

Looked like it cracked 20", and she was plump.  5 - 5 1/2 lbs?

 Feels good to be casting lures again.

Ha! Tough getting those selfie pics in a canoe. And I didn't expect it to be so big online.

Did you just break that out for a pic?. Take the fish out and put some beef or chicken in there...Then you will have some soup?

Made it four days ago. Almost a gallon.   Used chicken bonebroth by mistake. Darker color. Pretty darn good but I like regular broth beyyer

Probably head back there later in the week to fill up the Otter sled again with more Green goodies. Can't be beat! Planked on the grill isn't bad either, but you need to constantly baste meat.

Don't worry I don't keep bass, only released after I wore her out with quite the 2lb test battle ? Gills and crappies taste much better ...
