She's growing up

Took my daughter fishing today. Not unusual. She's 18 and has fished with dad since she was a baby. What was unusual was her boyfriend came with us. She grew up fast. Glad it's still cool to hang with her dad. Brought home a pile of crappies to boot. All had fun.

This is awesome, hope it remains "cool" to fish with pops in my daughters eyes at that time. 

 Not to hijack this thread, but mind telling which lake you were on and the ice conditions/ thickness?

Been going with my girl off and on since 3.  She''s almost 12 now and we are heading out tomorrow again.

The lake was past Cotton and ice thickness was nineteen inches.
