Any hot colors or jigs i need to ppick up before trip in a couple weeks.

Color and type of jig will depend upon what you will be fishing for and where you will be fishing. ???

Red Lindy Flyer is always in my box, along with some mega glow demons in green and pink for set lines.

Red spoons for me also.  Buckshots when they work or flutter spoons when they don't.  I've starting using jigging raps about the same size as a fathead with good success.  i always jig in one hole and keep a set line with a red hook during the day and a glowing hook at night.   I also like to keep three different rods ready for when they snub one offering but still stick around.  Call em in with a buckshot, Catch them with the rap or set line.  A lot of the time they wait to hit the set line until I've pulled the jig up  to the top.
