Chena bait

has anyone used Chena bait for panfish in the winter? If so, any luck?

Summer, yes.....  Winter, not so good results. If you cut the bait into thin strips it can be used as a finness type of bait. It will catch fish, just not like on tv,  imho :-)

Used to fish bluegills all the time when I was a kid with some cheap side pork..... never think of using it anymore.

It gets stringy and cold and falls off lol But it was easier to raid the freezer at home than to get any money for bait when I was a kid lol.
