First trip out

Made it out yesterday south of Lake Park. Good ice about 8".  Got my old man out for a few hours but only caughtsome small pike and one sunny. Spent a lot of time switching baits trying to find anything to get the panfish to bite. Seemed like plenty of lookers not enough biters. Got the slender spoon on to get some pikeon which bent the rod and made his day with that light rod and line.

Went out for the first time on Wednesday afternoon by DL.  Had 7"-8" of ice.  Fishing was pretty slow, but ended up with a mixed bag of 2 crappies, 1 bass, 1 northern and 1 walleye, so it was still good to be out on the ice.  Seems like the fishing has been fairly slow all around.
