Can't report ice thickness, but I just drove to Bayport park and there are 15-20 people out fishing. All walking, no wheelers.

Was out there this morning. Ice was anywhere from 5-6 inches. There is some spot with slush and some spot with water. Fishing was okay not fast but not slow either. Some area of the shore line is all water so you have to be careful of where you walk. Be Safe and good luck.
