Just wondering if anybody is using or has used either the Dakota Lithium Batteries or the Battery Tender Lithium Batteries to power their flasher?  Any Feedback other then they are somewhat expensive yet?

I walk out pulling a porty and auger, so just trying to lighten up as much as I can.

Thanks!

Just got my first FL-12 and I was offered a great deal on a Lithium Ion for it from Batteries Plus. Figured I'd try it out, worth the investment if it works. Runs the Vex fine, thinking of testing battery life this weekend by just letting it run inside. I've heard they do much better in the cold. Other positive of course is the weight and the way they provide power. They will give a consistent output until they die. Unlike the old batteries that would slowly give less power. I'll post an update with the battery life and with the brand and model number.

Thanks Kunzi, that's is exactly the type of feedback I am looking for.  I didn't now Batteries + carried them now.  I was in there a year or two ago and they said they had stopped carrying them due to quality issues.  They must have worked those out.  Please post what brand/model you bought and how your test goes.

Thanks!

Hopefully that wasn't the one I got.. they sold it to me saying it was the last one they had and it was on a really good deal.. sounds like they were trying to unload bad product maybe. Hopefully not.. but we'll see.
