Used FL-18 ultrapack

Just saw a Vex FL-18 ultrapack at my local pawnshop for $200. Seems like a good deal. Thoughts?

That's a steal if it's in decent shape... Especially if it comes with a ducer

That's a HECK of a deal! Check over the transducer connection and overall appearance of the transducer, good find!

That's a good point Jim. One way you can tell if the transducer is working on any flasher is to hold the flat end of It right up to your ear when turned on, you should be able to hear it clicking. If not junk.

another way to check is hold ducer about 3 feet over hard floor, turn unit on and have gain on 4 or so. you should see a line. move up and down a bit and see if it moves. good to go if it does.
