Need a little help for the 18th-24th

So I will be staying at Breezy Point this week as we do every year our week for the condo time share is a poopty this year since we have to leave on xmas eve but oh well.

Anyway it is starting to look like Pelican main lake is not going to be fishable. I am sure we can fish the bay in front of the marina but recent years it has not been so good around there. Thinking we are going to have to venture out to different lakes. Can anyone point me in the right direction to smaller lakes or lakes that freeze earlier than others in the area. Looking for panfish or northerns.

I would stop in and talk to Jason at SportLand bait when you get up there to see if there is any good ice and fishing around. It's going to be hard to suggest much right now the way the weather is going. Good Luck.

Ya I was just seeing to narrow it down to lakes that usually freeze first. I suppose just going to have to wait and see.

 

But what a crappy start we are having so far it looks like starting Tuesday we are heading in the right direction with the temps. Maybe I will have to just bring a extra case of beer and sit and play cards.
