It feels like a million years away with the short-sleeve weather we have this afternoon, but it'll hit quick.

I am aiming to use my boat one last time next week and then winterize. That is when waiting for ice becomes hard. I usually expect to find walkable ice on a little lake around one week into December. If I stay dry, that first outing was successful. By the 25th, I expect to have patterned out an active bite somewhere.

Not sure where your thinking of going but 8" to 10" inches of snow is headed our way up north this coming Friday! Good luck!

I think that Sunday was the last voyage of the year for me.  Putting it away this coming weekend.  Ready for hard water season.
