It's that time of year again. We will be having our annual GTG at Dixon Lake Resort Dec. 2-4. Pizza party Friday night in the lodge. Potluck at noon Saturday on the ice.

Hope to see all of the regulars and a few new faces.

The overnight lows are going to start dropping into the teens up there end of this week. Day time highs in the 20's.

Keep thinking cold!!!

Bring on the ice

Calm winds and temps in the 20's is the mantra we need to keep for the next couple weeks.

You going to join us if there is ice moose?

well we found a small amount of ice. But it was only about 1"thick. And only reached out a couple hundred yards at best. The swans were loving all the open water that's for sure.

Those that did come up to the GTG had a good time despite the lack of ice. Mostly hunting for grouse and rabbits. Plenty of both seen, but the shooting was less than stellar.
