Fall Foliage

Been two weeks since we've to up and wondered if you are starting to see color changes?

The ash tree leaves are turning yellow and the birch are starting to turn yellow and dropping some leaves.

We are just starting to see the colors change. It should really show in a week or two.

I would say that we are about 1/4 into fall colors in this area.

Drove to Ely yesterday and there were some pockets of great color. I would definitely think next weekend would be worth the trip.

Yup, some sparse reds here and there but trees are definitely turning yellow and some dropping leaves already. Beautiful

The trees are turning color fast now! Seems to gain color by the hour now!

In my opinion.  We are past peak.

Yes, we are past the peak now. Leaves are falling off of the trees fast with the heavy winds the past few days!

Back in Ia now but just left the Winnie area on Wednesday morning & I would say it's past peak there as well. They were coming down fast there as well because of the wind. With the last couple of colder nights, I have to believe with some more wind the rest will be coming down soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see them mostly bare by the time we get back up which should be the end of this coming week or the beginning of the next
