i need to learn how to shoot. I know it was windy but them doves should have dropped. Finn just watched them fly away 9 shells no doves. I will say them doves can move

hunted doves a lot when I lived in ND. Loved it! Tasty little buggers.

I wish my spot had em this year but whenever we plant beans it seems like they are not there. Next year when the corn goes in there will be tons though. They are fast haha!

Well the youth day was fun!! We are all taking naps now! My nephew bagged his first duck, Finn made his first retreive, moose called in the ducks! One proud uncle here!!

Finn and I took a walk yesterday for grouse we did not find any ruufies. We cover about a mile and half and found 3 piles if feathers. I can't wait until next weekend with @river rat316 as I know we will get some shooting in. I am prayin we don't get more rain, because the river will flood again.

I know this is way too late but I just read this thread for the first time.

Try full choke and 8s next time you go.  You need a dense pattern on doves cuz they're so small.  You won't blow them up.
