We will keep this report pretty short and simple.  Not a whole lost has change in the past week in regards to the bite.  I will say the early morning and evening bites are still by far the best bite with the day time look to fish deeper structure and cover alot of ground.  

 

In the low light hours, try fishing shallow in 5-10ft of water using slip bobbers, jigs, or long lining crawlers.  Cabbage or other weed beds are holding bait and that means predators are close by.  If not shallow look to 12-18ft of water during these hours by pulling lindy rigs or trolling crankbaits.  As the day moves along, trolling crank baits and spinners has been best.  

 

Walker Bay has been solid for a mix of both keepers and slots as well as some bigger pike showing up on the humps.  Look to 18-28ft of water and pulling lindy rigs with crawlers and minnows.  The Main Lake has produced fish on deeper humps or steep edges.  The South end of the Main Lake near Pelican Island has had the best reports.  Look to fish in 12-18ft of water or 22-28ft of water.
