older 2050 turbo, will start but only run at full throttle. put in new carb kit  no diference, tried ajusting jets no change.  out of ideas, ??

Check your exhaust screen and see if it is plugged. If so burn it off with a propane torch and knock off the carbon and replace. Otherwise I would check the coil.

My Stihl has a tube that connects from the crank case to the carburetor diaphragm to serve as a fuel pump. Is it possible that yours has this and it has a small leak and so at idle, it isn't able to operate the pump because the pressure leaks out?

Did you check the fuel filter inside of the tank?

Just pull the rubber hose inside the tank out with a piece of bent wire. Filter is attached to the hose.

On my stihl, turned out to be a Crack in the fuel line.
