The Drake Motel is under new ownership.  Hopefully the news owners are as nice and sportsman-friendly as Mike and Diane were.    Enjoy your retirement Mike & Diane!

Thank you Walleye Guy!! Not quite retirement but a step closer!  We are definitely going to miss all the great people who have been regulars to the Drake, we were looking at all the old photos (yep, I kept every one of them!) and it was amazing to see the ones from 15 years ago, we've all changed a bit!  But it was all the people that made owning the Drake so great, and Mike and I would like to say THANK YOU all so much, we appreciated your business and more importantly, the friendship!  Diane & Mike

Rick, looks like you're going to have to go south for that trout fishing...or big catfishing!  A HUGE Thanks again to everyone who has messaged, emailed & called with your kind words & well wishes...being "Drake" has been a big part of our life!   We will definitely miss all the people..and with the temps here to break a record this weekend, this weekend we will miss Minnesota temperatures!
