2016 water temperature - Lake Vermilion

In the spirit of community service, I will post any water temp readings I have.   Feel free to add whatever you have.

Today was 57 to 61 on the wild west end.

Went out this evening for a while.  Pretty consistent 56 degrees.  Those warm spots were gone daddy gone.

Must be a sun on the surface thing. 61 this afternoon, no wind, nice sun.

Found 64 today in the West end. Most of the water was between 60-63.

73 to 75 yesterday evening.  The next few days will likely kick them up some too.

Not much change.  73 to 76 depending on location, relative to the breeze.

Surprise Surprize.... the water temp is warming.  This afternoon I saw temps as warm as 78.  Very pleasant swimming for sure with the wind blowing the warm water into the shore in front of the cabin. 

Temps as low as 74 on lee shores.

76°F in Stuntz Bay Saturday.  Cooled down to 69°F by Sunday morning with the cold front.
