Ridgeline wheelhouse

Question

Posted

Does anyone have any user info on these wheel houses? I've seen these in person at shows and I like them, but I've never fished out of one. I like how I can load the wheeler in the back and they are reasonably priced.

I'm thinking of a 6x12 HH v-front model with the thought of being able to use it for a trailer in the summer months if needed.

Are they a good buy or not worth it?

Thanks for the info.

I have one as well as my nephew and won't own anything else. Both are spray foam insulated, which I highly recommend for structural strength and efficiency. We have been fishing since ice went to five inches, pulling them with the ATVs. My son then uses mine all summer as a camping trailer and pulled it all over from North Dakota to Missouri with his job, no issues. I recommend getting one with a side entry door as well as the rear doors, not a ramp, for ease of use. The nephews has only the rear door and the guy fishing in front has to navigate thorough everyone's gear to get out. We use light weight car ramps to load and unload ATV rather than trying to lift all the weight with the fulcrum arms. Heat very comfortable on coldest days with a buddy heater. Only modification I did was put LED lighting in for increased light for my old eyes and efficiency on battery use, use a whole week and still don't have to have to charge it. Both are 6 x 12.5 feet, fish three people, two holes each with ease.
