Sled went through ice ridge from Taylor/Potato towards Bayview. I traveled around it by going towards Bayview. Looked to be a few open wet spots that I saw. Could be hard to see at night.

Started fishing at 6am out of McKinley and did a loop of Ely island til dark. Didn't catch anything, didn't even mark anything. Found 8-12" of good ice. Saw a subaru out just past Ely. Saw truck tracks heading out of Stuntz toward the north side of big bay. Light was very flat. Traveled slow and kept an eye for for ridges.

Just wanted to add the snowmobile dropped through the ice right at the snowmobile trail crossing. I saw several machines heading that way last night.
