Hello,

I'm looking for some help on info about Rainy Lake. I've never fished it before but me and an ice fishing buddy are looking to give it a try. We have all our gear to ice fish but we would need to get access to the lake. We are planning on heading up to Rainy on Friday 01/15/2016 and fish for 3 days (leaving on Monday AM). My question is where would you recommend staying at, and is there a way for access to get on the lake with a 4 wheel drive truck. We are not opposed to renting a shack if need be. Also if there are any other tips/things I forgot that you can provide, I would appreciate it. My email address is :   [email protected]

I would stay with Woody at Woodies Fairly Reliable Guide Service. Knows the lake like nobody.
