Glad they are OK. But.. all I can say is stupid. There cant be more than 4 inches of ice there.

I wonder how old these folks were if fishing or just joy riding and if their mom & dad found out where the car is yet?

I figured it was just a matter of time tell someone go's through the ice. I've seen it over and over again on this lake but it's usually 9 to 10" and after the first person drives on then everyone else starts to drive all over the lake.

I think one of the big issues is the people going through aren't ice fishing just joy riders, last year this time I could drive out I should be able to this year.  Lets just hope we get through the season without any fatalities.

No problem.  Generally speaking, if someone does something stupid - it ends up on YouTube - so it's worth a search.  My New Year's resolution is to never end up on YouTube.

I was just coming here to see if it's been posted... There is barely walkable ice, just barely enough on some lakes for atv/sleds.. Who in their right mind would think... Oh.. Let's just drive out... It's Jan.. What's the worst that could happen... I'm still going out with a spud bar and ice picks. Always have to fish for the conditions you have not for the time of year! Stay safe yall!
