four wheeler through the ice

I had heard someone went through little rock last weekend on a four wheeler. they were alright seeing as how shallow that lake is. I was out there last sunday the ice was 4-5.  was on a deeper lake this weekend with about 4-5 and a lot of four wheeler and snowmobile traffic. there was a lot of water on top of the ice from the sun and a lot of tracks through that top slush. I tried to avoid walking these areas knowing the ice had to be 4 or less with a pool of water on top.  Yeah its been cold but not that cold! just feel like atv traffic may be pushing it a little.

Saturday afternoon I didn't see water out from the on the west side and found 6.5" of ice. Maybe he was closer to the inlet or outlet.
