Has anyone fished Big Fish yet this year. I was out there yesterday and noticed very little action. When we showed up there were only 3-4 houses about 20 or so paces from the access. I'm just surprised that this lake was so quiet. Any advice, suggestions, or hints would be appreciated.

 First welcome to the site! Ice probably isn't the best out there yet.  Usally a lake that freezes later has some deep water. I use to fish it a fair amount hard water years ago not as much now. Real good early ice walleye lake and has some good size crappies.  Water is gin clear and does have a late night walleye run. a lot of small pike does have regulations and a  bunch of stunted sunfish. Most of the people you see fishing out there more than likely live on the lake,

I was out there the 27th of Dec, maybe 3-3.5" of ice. Marked a fair amount of fish in typical walleye spots but only managed to caught 1 worth keeping. Good Luck.
