Best access?

First winter around this area for me, where is a good spot to access on foot? Somewhere where I won't have to walk 500 miles to fishable water!  Thanks!!

Hello Jim,

 

try Cutfoot Souix by William Narrows. Only 50-100 yards out and you're fishing. On Winnie, all the stops I know are more than 1-1/2 miles out.

They have live webcams, so if your headed there I'd take a look 1st. The road to get back there is off Hwy 46 on the other side of the lake from you, JIm. Co Rd 9 over to Gosh Dam Place then a little north.
