Anyone ever fish this lake, looks kinda like a big swamp and the DNR report is over 20 years old, the only thing I could find on it was it has bull heads.

Some friends of mine used to fish this lake for northern and I think muskie. Heard decent things on it but no public access. I think it can be accessed via right of way, but don't quote me on that.

Not sure about Muskie I am going to say I doubt that being its only about 7-8 feet deep, I believe it does have an access just a gravel one not sure about a dock.

I believe it was used a rendering pond in the past, pretty sure it full of weeds in the summer. You are correct there is a small gravel access with only a few parking spots

I live in the area....never fished it....but i'd be willing to give it a go with you if you want when we get some more ice.  Always wondered about that lake myself....lmk.

Works for me the one nice thing is its shallow so it should freeze faster then some of the large deep lakes in the area

There's some small walleyes in there I think.

Fished it from shore this summer and caught a bunch of small northerns (12-15 inches). I have caught a few walleyes in the past, but no numbers or size. Decent duck hunting lake for the cities.

Yea Diamond used to be a DNR walleye rearing pond back in the day.  Doesn't get deep... probably susceptible to frequent winter kill if I had to guess.  If there are any walleye left in there, they probably relate to the deep weed line vs mid-lake nothingness.  Might be worth throwing some tip-ups out there and see what happens.  A few slimers can be fun to catch if nothing else.
