A few tips to refresh..

This week I had a couple of guys decide to come and set up right next to me on a huge lake in Duluth MN.  They came at prime time and made swiss cheese with the auger and spooked all the shallow running walleyes out of the area.

Shallow water - don't walk around on hard ice with ice cleats on, spooks fish,  Dim the lights at night and cover the holes in day.

lots of other things, what else?? 

I find that I have better success being stealthy on shallow water.  I like to fish alone in the one man away from the crowds.
