Where to fish and stay

I'm looking for Non Biased information and I know if I post this in their appropriate tab they will be a bit biased.

Looking to take the girlfriend out for a sleeper house fishing trip.  Where would you suggest?  URL, LOW, or Devils Lake, or local?  With feedback who would you go through?

I've been taking the kids and going to Luxury Fish House Rental  (www.luxuryfishhouse.com) out of Gull Lake, Brainerd, the last few years.  Really nice icehouses and they come with a generator, TV/DVD, DishNetwork, underwater camera, etc.  And since you're on Gull Lake you have Ernie's, Zorbaz, Grandview, etc. to go get out of the house.  My favorite thing is that Gull has a really good walleye night bite.  Hope this helps.

If you are looking for a sleeper house i would go to LOW.  I do not know of any sleepers on Devils lake.

I have never been to Devil's Lake, so I can't comment on that one.  However, I have rented sleepers for about 10 years now.

The sleeper that I rented on LOTW was poorly designed with the holes beneath the beds.  Pretty much defeated the purpose of renting a sleeper.  If you go to LOTW, you are better off renting a day house with a cabin to sleep in.

On Mille Lacs, I have rented nice roomy sleepers.  But the resort we went out of didn't seem to try and get us on the fish.  In two years, we caught very few fish.

Now, I don't even consider going anywhere other than URL.  I rent from Red Lake Remote, but would also consider Beacon's Harbor as a second choice.  Both are run by great people and will do their best to put you on the fish.
