Owasso update

Anyone out there have any updates on Owasso after last years fish kill? How was fishing this past summer? Worth looking at for ice fishing this season? Thanks for any information.

Oh well. That's either really good or really bad. Guess I'll figure it out later and report back.

It killed out pretty bad. Its gonna take more than a few years to rebound. I fished it a lot for the past 10-15 years and fished it a few times per a season the past few years out of curiosity. Catch rate for everything is still low. Most bass Ive caught have been 10-12" with a few 15-19" fish so they are in there will just take time to repopulate. I dont think the pike got hit too hard by the kill. Have not went after walleyes too much, a few times in the winter, my regular spots that were good for at least numbers of those 12" fish were pretty empty. In fact the only walleye Ive caught since the kill was 17" so I think the walleye population will take much longer to rebound.

I know a couple muskie guys went out there and nothing, gonna take some time and good restocking to get that lake back
