The most up to date info on this page is a week old?  Anyone have any news on whether the northern birds are coming down?

went for a hunt that turned into just a boat ride yesterday . Was north of the border from Inl Falls in a very good duck lake . We saw more swans and geese than ducks but not  a single mallard and less than a few dozen divers . Seems it is going to be over before the divers get started . Ponds froze over 2 days ago but reopened yesterday , cold forecast  starting soon . Good year for mallard hunting but very poor for divers

I went out to check the pond at my dads and I saw 4 bluewing teal and 2 woodies. I have been staying out of the woods seeing the orange army has been out for the last 9 days.

Deer hunting in the Twin Cities metro last night and heard 3 different flocks of snowgeese headed south.

There are tundra swans and lots of mallards on Bald Eagle in Ramsey County.  The migration must be in full swing.  How about some posts?

Hey tom, go on the hotspotoutdoors.com forum instead of the fishingminnesota forum. Same site, it's just like a forum within a forum. Not sure how they got it set up, but that's where most of us waterfowlers have been.
