Has anyone taken a temperature reading on the water recently? I'm trying to figure out how close the lake is to freezing over in the smaller bays once the temps drop. It looks like night-time lows are going to mostly stay around freezing for the near future but am assuming one or two cold days/nights would lock things up at this point....depending on where the water temps are at.

BTW - enjoy the snow on Thursday!

Hearing 42-45 degrees yet.  Going to be a while before it gets hard

Still fishing Vermilion was 42.5 yesterday. We live on west end of Pine Island. Don't see the ten day forecast freezing the lake over.
