confused buck

So I'm sure many of you saw this before, but I just did & my twisted mine kind of got away from me....

 

What was this deer thinking?

 

Man I really like sunrises.  I just got to keep walking East.

 

I’d really like to see Lambeau Field, go Packers!

 

I’m sure Mom went this way...

 

Man all these does look weird.  Their ears are SO small...

 

What are all these things with bark on, they’re EVERYWHERE?  I really like rubbing my horns on them, but I’ve never seen them before.  They sure hurt when you BOING into them...

 

Is it just me or has it been FOREVER since I’ve seen an antelope?

 

I haven’t seen a sign that says how far it is to Wall Drug for a couple of days now...

 

I know here’s the real reason:

I sure wish the wind would quit blowing from the East, because I know I’m only supposed to walk into the wind & I haven’t recognized a landmark in several months...

 

 

 

 

I doubt he was born any further East than South Dakota.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you mule deer are smarter than whitetails.  Just see my second possible reason for him being that far East.

 

They aren’t hard working either.  99% of all whitetail-mule deer crosses are from a whitetail buck breeding a mule deer doe.  The muley does hardly run away.  But if a muley buck smells a whitetail doe that’s ready to breed & she runs a little bit, the muley gives up.  Oh not in the mood, okay.  Not the whitetail:  Oh, so you like to play hard to get, or in the muley’s case, you’re easy?  My kind of woman, along with any other kind...
