Fall fishing heating up??

Had a couple solid Walleye weekends in a row up on Leech. That was 2 weeks ago now. Last week had a stellar Smallie day on the Mississippi. This past Saturday we found 2 Muskies in about 1/2 hour on a local metro lake.

 

All in all, a pretty good fall. Now I'm just trying to eke out the last couple open-water days, and then it'll be winterizing time.

I have had a hit and miss fall but I can tell you its been worth it. SOmetimes the bite has been tough thru the day with the dusk bite being great and gotten me in a lil trouble with the wife. Hey its hard to leave when the fish are biting especially when they start at dusk! This weekend we absoulutely destroyed walleyes saturday we landed 31 walleyes according to our clicker and it was a blast. The bite has been more less vertical jigging with 1/8 -1/4 oz jigs tipped with either fatheads or suckers. I did do some redtailing but there pretty hard to come by right now. Heres a couple pics from saturday biggest was 25.5
