Height of Land Lake

Does anyone have a cabin on this lake or fished it?

Looking at a small piece of property on it and wondering how it does for summer fishing/recreation along with some ice fishing!

HOL is very shallow and gets extremely weedy in the summer to the point I don't think it would be good for recreation like swimming or water skiing. Not a bad panfish lake in the winter, fun to "site fish" in 8-9', in late spring just before ice out there will be tons of people out there fishing sunnies/crappies. There are a couple locals who put perms out in the winter and catch a few eyes but only if you are on the spot of the spot. Depending on what the price is HOL would not be a good choice IMO, many much better lakes in that area E of DL.

HOL is a different lake like stated previously it does get very weedy because of it being shallow.  The lake does freeze out pretty often whether it's the whole lake or parts, some of the flats will trap fish and then there will be localized freeze outs.  There are some good panfishing near the damn but other then fishing that spot I don't know of many people that target that lake.  With lakes around it though there are some good fishing.
