If I go up there it's after perch and I'm just wondering if this year there might be a jumbo season?

Regardless of the outcome of the DNR's decision on a winter walleye season, you will still be able to fish perch on the lake. Given the less than spectacular season for perch last winter, it remains to be seen if there is a strong population of jumbo's out there, although there were lots of 7/8 inch fish last winter.  There are a few incidental big perch being caught by bass fishermen, so there are some there. Drill, drill, drill.
