Today we located a couple of primitive (i.e.l leave your Ranger at home) boat landings on Tupman Lake. We had no boat and were just checking out different lakes looking for landings. Tupman was the only new one that we could find. It really looks like a great lake but here is the only info I could find on the Internet about Tupman:

Description for Tupman Lake, Rainy River District, Ontario

Tupman Lake is a lake located just 26.3 miles from Fort Frances, in Rainy River District, in the province of Ontario, Canada. Fishermen will find that there are no fish here. That's right, no fish. No rainbows, no steelies, no pinks, no perch, no muskies. Nothing. So keep looking for another spot nearby and you'll be glad you did.

I find it hard to believe that such a big lake in the middle of many other good lakes has NO fish. Anybody know different?
