annual trip

Got home last Friday from our annual week at Camp Ontario in the north arm.  What a week!  Just me and a buddy but we put well over 200 fish in the boat in six days,  On last sunday we got 70 in one day.  Most medium northerns, lots of slot walleyes, and couple of 30 inchers,  dozen or so big northern.  My thanks go to Robert and Janet Weaver for hosting us again,  and thanks for taking a day to fish with us Robert!  Most everything on blue and silver spoons.  some on spinners. Cant wait for next year. will add some photos later.

would love to have seen you John.   it was just me an my one buddy this year.  we didn't have to venture far at all this year to catch plenty.    fished with Robert camp owner one morning.  got to swap some hot spots. How is your Father buddy doin?  still in our prayers.  give me a shout when you head south this year if you can.   Those texas lakes should be in much better shape tis year for you.

Father Ben called me last night! He is still having some trouble finding the right word now and then but way better than when I saw him in Duluth two weeks ago. He wants to go fishing and will probably be back up here on Saturday.
