Fished vermilion Monday and Tuesday, the wind was crazy on Monday and forced us off our normal spots in big bay which was a good thing! On Monday we fished a spot that has been producing for the last few weeks and the fish were there and biting but the waves became to much to handle, we moved to a more sheltered reef off the tip of pine island and caught fish there too immediately.   Tuesday brought flat calm water and we started catching fish right where we left them. The two places we caught fish had the same style reef, deep water around them (30+feet) and two peaks with a saddle in between them. the biters were all sitting in the bottom of the saddle, 14-22 feet. Had great success pulling spinner/bottom bouncer combination. we also tried lead core and caught some that way too pulling along the edge.

Thanks for the report, I have a feeling I know where you are referring on Pine Island.
