Fishing trip advice

Hi everyone. Great info on this forum. I am putting together a boat-in trip for 3-4 guys next summer.  I am looking for input on where to camp and fish. I have been to Namakin many years ago but not since. We would mostly like to target walleye but smallies are also great. We would have an 18ft alumacraft and possibly a 16ft Lund.  Any info on campsites, fishing areas and/or best time of year would be great. Thanks!

I have only fished Kab and stayed at resorts but the campsites we stopped at for shore lunch were nice. Many have a boat dock. There was a sandy spot for the tent, fire ring and according to my brother a privy at the end of a trail that I assume is standard at all. Also there was a bear box.

I think you need a reservation for camping. We just shore lunched at what ever spot was open. last year it was so HOT, maybe in the 90's if I recall. Most camp sites that week were open. Not sure how much use they get. Oh, all were clean as well. Bugs were bad. Mosquito's and deer flies. I suppose some yard guard or something might be a handy thing to toss in a bag.

Thanks for the input. Does anyone have thoughts on best time of year for walleye up there?
