Alas, :( I have to take the wife and a grandson to Little Long Lake for the next three weeks.:D

Any fish or berries up there.

Who cares. I won't be down here in Mo.!

I was there a week ago on Little Long, nice clear lake. I would think you could find the smallies with the nice rocks and breaks out there. Near the islands, we saw some nice ones, only caught dinks though.

we hiked the bass lake trail and the blue berries were getting there, people were picking some in the sunny spots; although I only saw a few ripe ones, but tons of plants.

I didn't see any blueberries while I was up there (till the 8th) but the strawberries were doing well!  The rasberries were just getting started so they won't be ready for a while yet.  Lots of em though!

Can't give you much help on the fish - by the time I get done checking spots, I'm out of time to explore.  And the old spots aren't doing what they once were... :tired:  I usually have a tough time in July around Ely unless I'm fishing pike.  The other fishes take time for a weekender to figure out, especially when the prime time hours are mostly off limits due to entertaining reasons (its not just my vacation ;)).  If it it sounds like I'm whining - I might be!

3 weeks in Ely is a fantasy in my world!  Enjoy it!!!
