Carlton/Cloquet/Cromwell area water temps.

I'm fishing Chub Lake near Carlton for the first time this weekend and I'm curious what the water temps are. Looking too see where the crappies are in relation to the spawn. Also, is there a bait shop in the area? Thanks.

Not sure about water temps.  My guess is that you are getting close to the end of the spawn but you never know. If you run into Cloquet at the first set of lights by Walmart you will see Outdoor Advantage on the right. Should have anything you need as far as bait.
