Yesterday morning was dedicated to walleye as my wife and I planned for our first fish dinner on Rainy.  The Eyes were few and far between but we did well enough for a meal.  The big story was the pike.  It did not seem to make much difference, 5 ft or 20 feet, they were there and hungry.  32 inches was the largest as most were small.  All came on a four inch FinS minnow.

We returned home around 2PM in front of an incoming rain.  After the boat was raised on the lift, I noticed two pair of smallies making beds.  Life is good.
